Keynote Speaker: Ron Gula, Gula Tech Adventures

Ron Gula is President and co-founder of Gula Tech Adventures. Since 2017, GTA has invested in dozens of cyber start-ups and funds and supported multiple cyber nonprofits and projects. Ron has served on the Board of Directors for a number of GTA’s portfolio companies and has been a steadfast mentor and advisor to many founders. Ron has also supported a variety of cyber nonprofits and think tanks, with both his substantive expertise and through philanthropic funding.

CISO Panel: Patti Titus, CISO, Markel

Patricia Titus is the Chief Privacy and Information Security Officer at Markel Corporation. Previously, Ms. Titus was the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Freddie Mac, Symantec, Unisys Corporation and the Transportation Security Administration within the Department of Homeland Security. She is focused on transforming, implementing and maintaining robust IT security programs.

Michael Newborn is an accomplished information security executive bringing nearly two decades of leadership experience in cyber program development and execution. His expertise is in driving technology breakthroughs to position businesses and nonprofit organizations for optimized security.

John McClure is the Chief Information Security Officer at Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. where he is providing strategic leadership for the company’s enterprise information security program. Sinclair, a Fortune 500 company, is a diversified media company and leading provider of local sports and news.John last supported the federal government working for the Office of Government-wide Policy assisting in creating meaningful cybersecurity policy for the US Government.

CISO Panel: Gary Brickhouse, CISO, GuidePoint Security

Gary Brickhouse is the CISO at GuidePoint Security, and is responsible for all aspects of the company's information information security program, inclusive of building and maintaining GuidePoint's internal security architecture and control practices. Gary also leads the GRC services consulting practice where he is responsible for the development and delivery of GRC service offerings to support our clients.
