Hector Monsegur - A Hacker's Redemption
Mr. Monsegur, famously known as Sabu, was a prominent hacker tracked down by Mr. Tarbell. Facing a potential 124-year prison sentence, Sabu made a crucial decision to become an informant for the FBI, collaborating with the agency for over ten months. His cooperation led to the identification and arrest of hackers associated with groups like LulSec. After serving 7 months in prison, Mr. Monsegur transitioned to become a white hat hacker. Donna Ross, CISO at Radian
Donna L. Ross was appointed to her current position as Chief Information Security Officer in July 2016. In this role she is responsible for Radian’s information security program and business compliance, as well as the enterprise project management and initiative governance programs. Donna is a senior security and compliance executive with over 20 years of diverse risk, compliance, cyber security, technology, and operations experience within the manufacturing, insurance, banking, financial services, health care and retail sectors. Before joining Radian, Donna had senior level roles in security and compliance and Accolade, Corning Incorporated, GMAC, and Prudential. Ross was named one of HousingWire’s 2018 Women of Influence recognizing 85 women in the mortgage lending, servicing, investing and real estate industries who are making notable contributions to both their businesses and to the industry at large.
Brandi Burton, Deputy CISO at TE Connectivity
Brandi is the Deputy CISO at TE Connectivity where she leads the IT GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) function. She is a high energy professional with more than 25 years experience in cybersecurity, IT risk/controls, security architecture, information protection, IT compliance/audit, and related disciplines. Brandi has a proven track record of bridging the gap between IT speak and the business, enabling organizations to optimize security investments and manage cyber risk with confidence.
Sandra Cavazos, VP, Product Security and Privacy
Sandra Cavazos is Vice President, Product Security and Privacy for Comcast, a Fortune 30 telecommunications and media conglomerate with $120 billion in revenue, 186,000 employees, and more than 57 million customer relationships in the U.S. and Europe. Her responsibilities include application security, cloud security and privacy operations for customer-facing and enterprise-supporting products and services. She holds a B.S. from Duke University with a triple major in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering and German and an M.S. from Stanford University in electrical engineering.
Tara Drennen, CIO at SCO Family of Services
Tara Drennen was appointed SCO’s Chief Information Officer in January 2023. In this role, Tara sets and executes SCO’s IT strategy across the agency, overseeing enterprise-wide technology implementations, applications, cybersecurity, server and device management, infrastructure services, and end-user technology support.
